EMFULENI: 'IN THE RIVER'
Ah, the wild, wild North! Emfuleni Lodge defines what it means to be free. Elevated over the Platbos river the lodge provides an immersive experience of the surrounding trees and bush. With a large viewing deck and a plunge pool the only thing between you and the wonder of Africa is your champagne glass, or camera. View all we have to offer from The Rock, a unique location to Emfuleni, where you can absorb the experience in solitude or with company.
Emfuleni gives you comfortable, calm serene views over the rushing river for which it is named.
The main lodge has an open-plan lounge and dining area both with stacking doors opening up to the deck and open tree canopy. The large viewing deck has a lounge area and deck chairs overlooking the river below.
The rooms are spread around the main lodge providing privacy for all the guests each with a deck and en-suite bathroom. The Boma area provides an ideal spot for evening dinner around the open fire.

The large rooms are spread around the main lodge, are all en-suite and each having its own deck area. All the rooms have king-sized beds with the option to split into twins if required. Two of the rooms are interconnected providing guests with children the option to create a family suite. The rooms are fully serviced and have coffee/ tea facilities.

Unique to our lodges is the flexibility of either choosing to have your meals fully catered (on a full board basis) or the alternative of bringing your own food and our resident chef will do all the preparation and cooking for you. We will discuss and plan suggested meal options for the duration of the stay before your arrival at the lodge which will then be prepared according to your specific preference.

Included in your stay at the lodge are morning and evening Safari game drives together with your personal accredited and experienced game ranger. The morning game drives are preceded by a coffee or cup of tea and a rusk and depart at a time that is convenient for you and your group.
